Meet the mechanic

My name is Adam and unsurprisingly, I am a real person – not a faceless company. Just me, in my workshop in Bengeo pouring over your bikes, making sure that you are able to get out and enjoy them. 

I was a secondary school science teacher for 14 years, but as I am sure you can imagine, teaching, as amazing as it is, gets very tiring, so I moved on. 

Now I focus on my passion of everything bikes. I have been riding a bike for as long as I can remember. I am a road cyclist and am riding  more or less every day, mostly going as fast as I can getting ready for the next big event – if you see me about give me a wave; that would really make my day. 

I learned to fix up and maintain bikes by working on my own over the years but have had the pleasure of training as a professional bicycle mechanic at the famous BikeInn in Cumbria.
